2 Day Intensive Workshop

Overview:

This 2-day intensive workshop is designed for individuals struggling with sex addiction and/or pornography addiction, who seek to better understand their behaviors and develop practical tools to aid recovery in a safe and supportive environment.

Who Should Attend:

This workshop is open to individuals who recognize the impact of sex addiction and/or pornography addiction in their lives and are ready to begin the process of self-awareness and recovery. It is ideal for those who are seeking a foundational understanding of their compulsive behaviors, and gaining critical tools for the recovery process. These two days may be especially helpful if you have experienced repeated slips or relapses leading to frustrations, discouragement, shame, and more damage to yourself and your relationships.

This intensive offers an immersive, educational experience designed to engage participants with critical knowledge and tools to aid in successful early recovery.

Key Objectives:

• Gain awareness of the causes of failure in recovery and how to overcome them
• Understand the nature of sex addiction and its impact on individuals’ emotional, psychological, and relational health.
• Understand the role of the brain and nervous system in supporting the addiction cycle
• Gain awareness of the relationship between the addiction and your early life experiences
• Learn and practice recovery skills that target vulnerability to relapse

Facilitators:

The workshop will be led by licensed therapists who have years of experience as Certified Sex Addition Therapists (CSATs). These facilitators bring a deep understanding of trauma, addiction and recovery. Their approach is compassionate and empathetic as they provide practical solutions for navigating the challenges of recovery.

Format:

The workshop will be highly interactive, with a combination of presentations, group discussions and individual exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, practice tools, learn from other participants and receive feedback from the facilitators.

Participants will arrive each day between 8:30 – 9:00am. Coffee and water will be provided. Lunch will also be provided. During the check in time, participants will be asked to make a lunch selection from the catering menu so that each participant may select their lunch based on their food preferences and dietary needs. There will be breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Each day will wrap up promptly by 6:00pm.

Out of town participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements.

Conclusion:

By the end of this 2-day intensive workshop, participants will have a stronger understanding of the root causes of their sex addiction and/or pornography addiction. They will have recovery tools they can start implementing immediately. This workshop provides not only psycho-education but a supportive environment for practicing real-life strategies and gaining confidence in navigating the path to recovery.

Stipulations:

Please be advised of the following stipulations:  During this intensive there is no use of electronic devices.  Cell phones are to be turned off completely during the meetings, but may be checked during the breaks and during lunch.  Materials will be provided, so laptops, tablets, or any other similar devices may not be used.  Video and/or audio recording is not permitted. Attendance is considered agreement to these stipulations, and violations of these stipulations will result in dismissal from the intensive with no refund of the purchase price. 

Please be advised that this intensive consists of psycho-education and skill building work.  This intensive is not treatment and does not meet any criteria for court-mandated referrals for treatment or any request or requirement related to contact with the legal system.

Although this is not a psychotherapy session, participants are encouraged to seek ongoing professional therapy or group support as needed after the workshop.

Cost:

The cost for this 2-Day Intensive is as follows:

$1750.00

$1650.00  –  If registered on or before May 20th’

$1550.00  –  If registered on or before April 30th

To register, a $400.00 deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due two weeks before the Intensive (by June 6th).

Cancellation policy:

If you need to cancel, a 50% refund on your deposit will be issued up to two weeks before the date of the workshop, or the deposit may be used in full for a deposit towards the next intensive.  No refunds on deposits will be issued if cancellation occurs less the 2 weeks prior to the workshop. However, 50% of the deposit may be moved forward towards our next intensive.
