Whether seeking educational testing for learning issues, cognitive testing, developmental assessment, or performance assessment, Dr. Pickering has great experience and knowledge to help. It can feel very complicated and messy when mental health challenges are intertwined with possible learning issues or developmental issues. Our goal is to provide the assessments and testing protocols which reflect best practices in the field. Next, we seek to help our clients understand the results and what do with this information. We try to make the complex understandable and help you come up with a plan.

Navigating services with your school
Dr. Pickering has more than two decades of working within the public school system in Ohio. He is an expert in navigating the sometimes complicated world of getting your student the proper assessments and coordinating these services with your child’s school. He also knows the laws and regulations governing private assessments and testing and what schools and districts are required to provide.
In addition of providing assessments and testing for children and teens, we are also able to provide similar assessment and testing for adults.

Our Testing and Assessment Process
Your first step is to call us and speak with the office administrator. She will be able to assist with sorting out what testing or assessment you are seeking. Then, she will be able to share with you the fees and payment process. Next, she will assist you in putting a date and time to get started with Dr. Pickering or the clinician who would be serving you.
