Karen Burkhart

Karen holds a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio and an undergraduate degree in Christian Studies, with emphases in Bible and Music, from North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With extensive experience serving in both churches and parachurch organizations, Karen has a particular passion for counseling individuals who wish to integrate their Christian faith into their therapeutic journey. She is also dedicated to supporting those healing from negative church or religious experiences. Karen strives to help clients navigate and overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, loss, career and relationship struggles, parenting issues, and life transitions. Karen is under the clinical supervision of Kathryn Wisne, LPCC-S.
