Karen Burkhart

Karen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Studies from North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is nearing the completion of her Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio. She is under the clinical supervision of Kathryn Wisne, LPCC-S. Karen has extensive experience serving in churches and parachurch organizations and is especially interested in counseling individuals who desire to integrate their Christian faith into their sessions, as well as those who may need support processing and recovering from negative church/religious experiences. Karen is compassionate and empathetic and desires to help people rise above their challenges with anxiety, depression, loss, career, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, and life transitions.
